Program Overview
Neurocare Foundation Nepal successfully organized a one-day Free Neurosurgical Health Check-Up Camp to provide specialized care and raise awareness on neurological conditions within the Gokarneshwor community. The initiative focused on early identification of common neurological disorders and facilitating access to further diagnostic and treatment services.

Camp Highlights
Total Beneficiaries: 98 Patients • Neurosurgery Team: o Prof. Dr. Gopal Raman Sharma o Dr. Binod Rajbhandari o Dr. Prasanna Karki o Dr. Anish Man Singh o Dr. Srijana Thapa • Support Staff: 6 nurses and 10 volunteers • Target Patients: Individuals presenting with headaches, seizures, Parkinsonism, neuropathy, stroke recovery, and other neurological complaints • Free Medicine supplies

Participant Feedback
Feedback collected from attendees revealed a high level of satisfaction. Many individuals were unaware of their symptoms' neurological relevance and valued the opportunity for early screening. Participants and community leaders expressed keen interest in more frequent and accessible neurology outreach programs.
Conclusion and Next Steps
The camp served as a meaningful step toward addressing neurological health disparities in Nepal. It highlighted the demand for specialized outreach and community-based intervention models. In response to its success, Neurocare Foundation Nepal plans to expand the initiative to additional municipalities in the coming months.
