Dr. Binod Rajbhandari (FOUNDING MEMBER)

Dr. Binod Rajbhandari is a distinguished neurosurgeon in Nepal, currently serving as the Chief Consultant Neurosurgeon at Bir Hospital and Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) in Kathmandu. He holds an MBBS degree from India and an MS in Neurosurgery.

With extensive experience in neurosurgery, Dr. Rajbhandari has played a key role in advancing neurological care in Nepal. He is affiliated with several medical institutions, including Chirayu National Hospital and Medical Institute, where he provides consultations in the neurology department.

In October 2024, Dr. Rajbhandari was appointed to a committee formed by the Ministry of Health and Population to conduct a feasibility study for establishing a Neuro Treatment Centre in Nepal. This initiative aims to address the growing burden of neurological diseases in the country and provide subsidized treatment options for economically disadvantaged patients.
